Linux Server Administrator

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Becoming proactive and results driven attitude at maintaining in a LAMP environment.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of servers on both production and staging platforms with focus on reliability, availability, stability, security, and optimal efficiency. This includes by doing server upgrades, configuration, patches, optimisation, tuning, and migration.
  • Troubleshooting problems in real-time (diagnostics and problem resolutions).
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • In depth experience with protocols and internet application (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, POP, IMAP, Exim, cPanel/WHM, etc)
  • Working knowledge about internet security (firewall, VPN, spam, virus, DDOS, rootkit, etc)
  • Ability to perform coding in Unix shell scripting (bash, ksh), Perl, PHP, MySQL and other relevant scripting language.
  • Working knowledge about the open source internet application (Joomla, osCommerce, etc)
  • Strong knowledge with Red Hat Enterprise, CentOS or Debian.
  • Working knowledge for load balancing, routing and bandwidth management will be advantage.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Developing internal websites and clients’ websites.
  • Maintaining internal websites and clients’ websites.
  • Tidy coding habits (coding standard, commenting, etc)
  • Modifying available open source CMS (Joomla, Drupal, osCommerce, etc) or Templates (Smarty, etc)
  • Brainstorming with other team member to create concepts and metaphors for projects.
  • Provide technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Understand W3C standard and new web technology.
  • Having a good programming practice (coding standard, commenting, etc)
  • In depth experience at web programming especially PHP, AJAX and jQUery.

Website Manager

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Reporting to the Directors
  • You will be driving the overall roadmap for and lead all aspects of the website experience for all customers (consumers, industrial and commercial), including gathering and prioritising customer requirements, writing feature specifications defining user experience, and working closely with engineering, operations, customer marketing, customer service and finance to ensure product goals are met.
  • Analysing business requirements for the company’s websites, providing pro-active feedback and ideas to the team into the ongoing development and utilisation of the site, including HTML and website usability issues
  • The production of technical specifications and development estimates for business requirements
  • Vendor management of the CMS provider jointly with the Application Services Manager, including devising and managing service level agreements, requesting and co-ordinating quotes for system enhancements in line with business requirements
  • Analysing new releases of the CMS software and their impact on the ongoing business functionality
  • Change Control management for software releases and configuration changes in line with company’s change management policy
  • Advising on the creation of test plans for software releases and configuration changes
  • Creating/Maintaining documentation on procedures and application design

Requirements:
