An AI agent use case

Reverse-engineer Polymarket bots from their public trades

Paste one wallet or username and see what the bot does, whether it won on skill or luck, and whether it still works. That is how Bot X-Ray works, a tool your own AI agent can install.

Not financial advice

These bots made real money in the past. That says nothing about what comes next. Nothing on this page promises a profit.

The tool

What Bot X-Ray does

A summary of the Bot X-Ray page.

Reads public trades

Paste a Polymarket wallet or username. The tool shows what the bot does from its publicly visible trade history.

Skill or luck, still working or not

It judges whether the bot's results were skill or luck, and whether the bot still works.

Who is winning this month

It tags this month's top crypto bots and checks, every second, the gap between Binance and Polymarket prices, the gap the speed bots used.

One strategy on paper

It runs one strategy that held up on paper (paper trading), with no real money. The tool never places an order on Polymarket.

No account, no API key

Every number comes from public data. It runs on your own computer and needs only Node.js 18 or newer, with no account and no npm install.

Install

Install it with your own AI agent

Bot X-Ray is made to be installed by an AI agent that can run commands on your computer, such as Claude Code. The download is at part-timequant.com.

  1. 1

Your AI agent checks your computer, then downloads Bot X-Ray from part-timequant.com.

  2. 2

It runs the tests and asks which country you live in, so the paper strategy uses markets you can trade.

  3. 3

It opens Bot X-Ray in your browser. Paste a wallet or username, or click one of the three bots.

Open part-timequant.com(opens in a new tab)

Installing runs a program downloaded from the internet on your computer. Read what it will run before you agree.

Strategies

Three bots, three strategies

The rules each bot used, read from its public trades. One is still running, two have stopped.

Still trading

Price the odds, then buy the side that is too cheap. The only one of the three still running, and the strategy Bot X-Ray runs on paper.

The rules

  • Work out the real chance of “above $X by the date” from the coin's live price and how far it usually moves.
  • Buy whichever side is priced below that chance.
  • Only buy sides priced 20¢ to 95¢. Its trades below 20¢ lost money.
  • Hold to the end. Never sell.
  • Bot X-Ray adds one rule: skip a market when the model's volatility and the market's disagree by more than 1.5 times.

The downside

Once lost $145,694 in a single day, and is down $41k since 1 Sep 2026 (−$561 over the 30 days to 19 Oct).

gabagool22

Stopped 21 Feb 2026

Buy Up and Down together while a pair costs under $1.

The rules

  • In each 15-minute Bitcoin or Ether “Up or Down” market, buy Up and Down together whenever a pair costs under $1.
  • Ignore which way the price goes. Hold both to the end and collect $1 a pair.

Why it stopped

Taker fees applied from 5 Jan 2026, then around 18 Feb Polymarket quietly removed its half-second taker delay. After fees, a pair no longer costs under $1.

0x8dxd

Stopped 25 Mar 2026

Buy on Polymarket before its price catches up with Binance.

The rules

  • Watch the Bitcoin price on Binance every second.
  • When it moves more than 0.03% in 10 seconds, buy that side on Polymarket below a fair price worked out from Binance, before Polymarket's price catches up.
  • Hold to the end.

Why it stopped

Fees on the 15-minute crypto markets, then a steeper fee curve from 30 Mar 2026. Polymarket's price now moves in the same second as Binance's, so a home computer can't catch the gap.

Limits

What to know before you get interested

  • Bot X-Ray does not trade on Polymarket. It only reads public data.
  • According to part-timequant.com as of 22 Oct 2026, the UK, the US and much of Europe are close-only on Polymarket. Check the rules in your own country before using any prediction platform.
  • HostMop sells hosting and AI agents. We are not a broker, we give no investment advice, and we do not trade.
Why an agent

Repeating jobs like this suit an agent that never switches off

Read public data, calculate, summarize, then tell you. The job repeats, it is not a one-off.

Checked again and again

Bot X-Ray's paper strategy runs every 5 minutes while its app is open. A job repeated every few minutes is easy to hand to an agent.

Laptop off, schedule stops

Bot X-Ray runs on your computer, not on a HostMop server, so it stops when the computer is off or asleep.

A HostMop agent runs 24/7

A HostMop AI agent runs on a server, not on your laptop. You can schedule it, chat with it to research things, and get updates on WhatsApp or Telegram.
